God’s Plan of Salvation

God’s plan of salvation is the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23

What does this verse from the Bible mean?

The Bad News: The wages of sin is death.

God created the first man and woman, Adam and Eve, who disobeyed God, and sin entered the world. Accordingly, because of the sinful nature inherited from Adam, all people are born sinners and live lives in rebellion against Holy God. Thus, people are separated from God by their sins and live life independently from Him without regard for His will.

Therefore, the Bible confirms that there is no one righteous, not one, and declares that the penalty for sin is judgment and eternal death. For this reason, everyone born experiences spiritual separation from God. Indeed, sin is the barrier between Holy God and those He created that man cannot bridge. Accordingly, to be separated from God forever because of your sins is terrible news indeed.

The Good News: But the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Because of God’s great love for those He created, He gave the world the gift of His only Son, Jesus Christ. And although Jesus was sinless, He willingly died an agonizing death on the cross to take the punishment you and I deserve for our sins. And then, three days later, God raised Him from the grave. Therefore, God’s plan of salvation is that only Jesus can save you from your sins and give you eternal life. Do you believe this?

Salvation is Through the Sinless Blood of Jesus

It is a spiritual law that God will not forgive sin without an innocent blood sacrifice. Furthermore, the Bible teaches that only the sinless blood of Jesus Christ can pay the penalty for sin. Therefore, you need a Savior to have peace with God, and only Jesus qualifies.

The law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.  Hebrews 9:22

God desires that everyone repent and believe in Jesus’ death for the forgiveness of their sins because otherwise, the penalty for sin remains for those who reject Christ. How about you? Are you living independently from God without regard for His will? Then, you have not yet received Christ’s death on the cross for your sins.

So, if this describes you, there is a biblical truth that you must consider. God loves you and offers you forgiveness and eternal life. But sadly, if you reject Jesus’ death and resurrection for the forgiveness of your sins in this life, you will live forever apart from God in Hell. Hence, do not delay your decision.

Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and He will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those were waiting for him. Hebrews 9:27-28

God’s Gift of Salvation Deserves a Response

God offers you salvation in Christ Jesus as a gift to receive from Him, so there is nothing you can do to earn it.

For it is by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God, not by works, so that no one can boast. Ephesians 2:8- 9

So, are you ready to turn from your sins and receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior? To do this, believe in your heart, confess your sins with your mouth, and God will hear your sincere prayer of faith.

Holy God, I have sinned against you in word and deed. I am sorry, and I ask you to please forgive me. I believe that your Son, Jesus Christ, died for all my sins and that He rose from the dead. So, I ask you, Jesus, to come into my heart now and be the Lord of my life.

Did you pray to receive Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior? The Bible assures that you are born again when you repent of your sins and ask Jesus Christ to save you. And the proof is that the Holy Spirit now indwells you.

Yet to all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God, children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.  John 1:12-13

Jesus called people publicly, so it is important to act on your faith by telling someone. For this reason, let me or someone else know that you have received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Please contact me.

Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.” John 3:16-18
