When Politics Becomes a Religion

When politics becomes a religion is no longer in the future; it has arrived. Notably,ย todayโ€™s Leftist Politics has replaced Almighty God with breathtaking speed, wielding power with a sledgehammer and seeking to destroy anything or anyone who gets in its way. For those who donโ€™t yet see that the Leftโ€™s radical politics have become a secular religion of devoted believers, it is crucial that you understand the times we live in so you will not be deceived.

Ode to the Troubled Heart of the Furrowed Brow

Are you suffering grief in a trial? Are you being tested beyond what you think you can bear? This post will help you see your trial through Godโ€™s perspective as you discover that your pain has a purpose and your sorrows matter to God. This rhyming poem is a deeply personal recount of a fiery trial that included my own physical pain while also dealing with my husbandโ€™s Alzheimerโ€™s.

Follow the Good Shepherd

Jesus Christ invites all people to believe and follow Him. So, why is it so much easier to do everything but Godโ€™s will? ย I was thinking these thoughts one day when I noticed something about my dogs. Stuey and Sadieย liveย to serve and follow me, their master, but do I live to follow Jesus, my Lord and Master?ย Do you? See what I discovered about what it means to follow Jesus from this unique perspective.

Bible Teachings that Strengthen Faithย

Jesus Prays for You

Jesus prays for you, just as he once prayed that Peter’s faith would not fail when Satan sifted him like wheat. Although Peter was in Jesusโ€™ inner circle and a leader among the disciples, he dramatically failed the test of faith.

Are you sinning in ways you once thought would be impossible? Then, you can relate to Peter. But be encouraged because Jesus wants to use your trial to teach you important truths about your faith in Him. So, if you feel faith is fleeting and sin is winning, this post is for you.

The Names of God

The names of God reveal what He says about Himself. This is important because it is impossible to have a relationship with someone you donโ€™t know. Fortunately, God does want you to know Him, so He reveals Himself through the Bible by His many names. Indeed, knowing who God is and that He never changes will anchor your faith in an ever-changing world.

Do Not Fret

Godโ€™s Word says, do not fret about evildoers, but do you say, โ€œThat is impossible. Does God not see the violence, injustice, and corruption I see daily?โ€ Indeed, with increasing threats to our security, we often feel overwhelmed and powerless, which then causes anger and resentment. If this describes you, take heart because God wants to give you practical applications to break the cycle of living in a constant state of anxiety.

Bible Teachings that Dispel Doubt and Build Faith

Where is God?

Many ask this question when evil is on the rise and life doesnโ€™t make sense. This would include Godโ€™s prophet, Habakkuk, who questioned His absence when wickedness prospered. So, if you, too, are frustrated and wonder why evil people go unpunished, there are many lessons to discover from God’s answer to Habakkuk.

ย Give Thanks to God Often

Do you give thanks to God often? Or does your thankfulness depend on how you feel or whether your circumstances are good? Indeed, the hardest thing to do is thank God when everything is going wrong in your life, and you see no way forward. So, if you are grinding your teeth to endure on your own, see how you can give thanks to God in all circumstances.

Do Not Lose Heart

The world is drowning in negativity, yet our merciful God says, “Do not lose heart!” Sadly, many have already become demoralized because of government corruption and the Coronavirusโ€™s negative impact. In addition, social changes have slammed our nation at breakneck speed, causing uncertainty and stress.

Therefore, unless you cling to the Lord, you will surely lose your balance, as many already have. But be encouraged because Jesus knows your anxious thoughts and has answers for your troubled heart.

Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 1:2
